Location Comfortable bed Breakfast good

Needs attention to detail Bath panel was loose at one end Dim light in the bathroom No plugs near the mirror for hairdryer( had to move the large standing mirror to the plug) Toilet flush was not good Hairdryer needs updating No direction when coming down to breakfast No menu cards at breakfast to advise what was on offer!

The Westminster Hotel is situated in a beautiful part of Buxton with views directly over the park and pavillion. We stayed for one night and there was no issues with parking. The car park has a good amount of spaces but once full it is a little cramped, but this cannot be helped, the building is old and has lots of really nice features. Despite the age of the building we could not hear anyone else walking around or doors closing, it was really nice. The staff were all just brilliant, they were helpful, polite and kept us well catered for. The breakfast which was included in our £70 per night stay was exceptional. As I said £70 per night stay and this was exceptional value for what we got, the owner could have charged more, the room was tidy and clean, the staff were brilliant and the breakfast was exceptional. The location is just amazing with views over the park, and the area in front of the hotel is a pedestrian only Victorian style walkway/ footpath. The Westminster Hotel is well worth staying at if you are visiting Buxton and the surrounding peak district. We were only a short drive away from some of the most spectacular views England has to offer

I am picking hairs here but we lost plug socket power for a short time. With that said we reported it to the staff when we went for breakfast and they sorted it immediately.

Amazing location and beautiful rooms. Breakfast was stunning.

Bathroom could do with an update that’s all.

Management were not friendly. Although his wife was very pleasant.

The location was perfect. It was great to have private parking. A kettle and tea and coffee in the room The breakfast included was comprehensive whether it was fruit and yoghurt or freshly made toast and a full English.

We has a room on the top floor so the stairs weren't great when taking our luggage up and down.

The person that greeted me when I arrived could have been a little more friendly, he seemed a bit too serious and it didn't come across as very welcoming.
