DEWow Aldo was so kind, he is really interested in the missions of each of his guests. Whether it's trekking, climbing and other adventures he was always helping out. He got everything:)! Equipment, informations, contact. I was also in two other hostels in Huaraz, and aldos house was by far the very best

GBAldo is the most helpful and patient host who takes time for each guests questions, giving personal recommendations and is very knowledgeable about the area Help yourself to breakfast, usually bread, eggs, avocados and fruit. Can be a bit chaotic if there’s multiple people leaving for tours at the same time Always had hot water Perfect location close to everything you need
Rooms are a dated and could easily be improved with eg. stable shelves on the wall, a fresh coat of paint. Bedding isn’t comfortable and there isn’t much space to move around if your room is full, but for the money you can’t complain too much! It’s hard to work out who actually works there and what they do It’s quite loud, I have ear plugs which were a saviour The bill was worked out on a calculator at the end, it would have been nice to receive a proper bill so I knew what each thing cost (laundry, trips etc).
