ATIt’s a very nice place for young people and backpackers. The host is great and you can have all kind of tours, even special ones, organized for you.
MTBed was comfortable. Aldo was willing to help with tour / hike recommendations.
Bathroom could have been cleaner (hair and dirt present in the sliding door rail). Room was dark with the only window opening onto the shaft. Noisy during the day and night (noise from street outside as well as from roof terrace). Felt the room was overpriced, despite us staying during Easter week.

It is on a noisy street, so getting to sleep can be a bit of a challenge. Pillows need to be updated.
NLThe atmosphere was very cosy and welcoming. There were always people around to chat, play boardgames, or plan the next activity together. The hostel offers a variety of day activities, including hiking, climbing and others, and can help with anything else you want to do in Huaraz. The hostel is very centrally located. Though the hostel is pretty basic, it is super well adapted to the needs of backpackers and hikers- from check-in and check out, to a decently equipped kitchen, tables to get together and volunteers that help people to feel at home and connect.

DEReally social hostel, so you‘ll definitely find people to do hikes with. Location is superb in the middle of the town.
Beds were really uncomfortable (!) and noisy. No toilet paper, no towel and no soap provided, which was really strange and not nice. Staff is almost never to be seen. Although i liked the vibe of the guests, i unfortunately needed to switch hostels. The rating of 8.2 is not justified in my opinion.
