GBThe terrace is a great place to hang out with wonderful views, the kitchen is well stocked. Henry is super kind and helpful and very flexible, for example, I had an early check in and he was able to accommodate me.
There was no water for a few days and often no hot water. I believe this was due to a burst public pipe. It was quite cold in the rooms and the communal areas.

DEThe location of the place close to the center is strategically good. The vibe in the common areas is generally quite good, from what i can tell from my short stay
The whole place is run down, from the kitchen to the rooftop, to the dorm i stayed in. For what it is, it's not even that cheap. It also felt understaffed to me and this might be at the core of the problem, as it is a quite large place. The breakfast is included unlike other places with comparable prices,, but really i can buy an avocado and eggs on the market myself for a couple soles (and did so, after i changed the place)

NLAldo is very friendly and helpful with organizing tours and giving recommendations. There is a nice roof terrace which is a great place to meet other backpackers. The hot showers are a big plus.
The locker did not work in my room.
ILGreat atmosphere, Amazing stuff, Aldo is an amazing owner that gives amazing tips for hikes in the area. The best hostel kitchen that I seen in the entire world! Super comfy beds
