Host was so helpful and pleasant . Beds were very comfortable.

This is an excellent private room / guest house prior to starting your Kumano Kodo. Quick walk to and from the train station / tourist agency. Plenty of restaurants abound in the near area, but make reservations! Air conditioning worked like a charm in late July with high humidity. The 2nd story balcony / porch was great for hanging my clothes out to dry.

A traditional home with a lovely informative host. Handy to local restaurants, bus and train services. A great overnighter before heading off for the Kumano Kodo trail.

The house is less than 5 minutes on foot from the train/bus station and convenience store. It is also close to restaurants and shops, but still in a quiet area. The room is big and comfortable and the kitchen, toilets and shower were all very clean. We were fortunate to be the only guests there that night, so we had the house to ourselves. The lovely host lady speaks good English and was very helpful. We've had a lovely stay!
