Friendly homely well kept casa near the centre of town. Good Tipico Salvadorean breakfast with coffee. More like staying in someones home than a hostel.

Great location, lovely breakfast, you can rent a motobike directly from the property, fan in the room, nice outside patio.

The private room was very small but fine for a couple of nights.

"Buenísimo hospitalidad"

10.0

Excellent hospitality service. The owner Janet and her staff were very hard working and attentive. Very comfortable stay, felt like home, perfecf location accessible to all 5 towns of the ruta de las flores by bus, and feria gastronomía, made my el salvador experience special. Breakfast was amazing, which the owner herself prepared for the guests. They offer the juayua 7 waterfalls group tour, which costs $15. It was off season (rainy season), so I had a relatively smaller group. But I didn't know you have to be fit to join this tour, i thought it'd be easy trail, but steep rock climbing was unexpected, and paths were rough, constantly hill after hill and slippery slopes. I'm not athletic, the whole tour lasted about 4 hours, but I was already out of breath within the first 30 minutes, while others looked all athletically fit from regular workout, enjoying this as a piece of cake. The tour guide Yesenia was professional, knowledgeable about the local nature, and funny and humorous, she was an entertainer, making sure our experience was memorable. I wish I could swim, but I flunked PE classes in school, so I had to sit aside while others enjoyed swimming in the waterfall. This was the 1st time in my life did hiking as I'm not into outdoor activities, which was quite challenging, but I'm glad I overcame the obstacles and completed the tour, able to prove that I'm a man. During this stay, it was eye-opening to meet professional travelers and nomads, and surprisingly they were all polyglot, I wish I could speak many languages like them, at least fluent in Spanish. I even have trouble speaking English, my 1st language or only language. Typical American. Mono-glot. Or de facto zero-glot, as I can't articulate anything. So I was jealous of them. I had spanish class in school, but still can't speak today. So I want to be able to communicate in Spanish, at least daily conversation level.

The only thing I didn't like was no mobile payment, only cash, as I have lived with mobile pay for few years by now. Never used cash for a while. President Bukele said he'll make el salvador the IoT hub of Latin America. So I'm expecting all Salvadoran business will implement mobile payment soon, makes travel much easier when I visit el salvador again. Yes, I want to come back during the dry months since thunder storms often interrupted my travel plans. So I definitely want to come back to El Salvador!

Loved the 7 waterfall tour they offer! It was so great and definitely a highlight ⭐️

Didn’t like that the shared bathroom was with a lot of people. There was only 1 bathroom/toilet for all dorm guests.
