Great Accomadation,had everything you would need for a stay over :) everything was in walking distance :) we absolutely enjoyed our stay at Herdwick guest house, lovely hosts and a brilliant breakfast:)

Positives: The location of the property was great as it was in a lovely quiet residential area with easy access to the town. We liked the concept of being able to top up teabags/coffee/milk and bottled water. The room was an excellent size and the extra toiletries were a nice touch. The cooked breakfast was of a good standard. Even though decaf was not offered in the room, Andy kindly gave me some in a little jar.

Negatives: As we had booked a 2 night stay the usual housekeeping of freshening up the room was not an option. This did not matter to us, however we didn’t like that if we needed the bin emptied we had to do it ourselves. The range of items for non cooked breakfast was limited with very little choice of fresh fruit and only orange juice. Not sure if this is the way things are done in Keswick……….we had stayed in Penrith for 2 nights in a B&B before travelling to Keswick and although we had to pay separately at the property for our breakfasts, the overall cost was only £10 more but the range of breakfast options was more extensive and the room was freshened up every day.

Good location with local street parking .

Room was a bit on the small side but still OK.
