Riverside Rooms

Great location on the banks of the river, walking distance to the main station and a variety of bus stops, with a local shop very close. Room and entire property was very clean and the accommodation was excellent value for money.

Had to wait half an hour after arrival and call several times to have the code to get in sent to me, despite having confirmed my arrival time with the property. Not clear why this couldn't be sent in the morning of my booking rather than waiting until after arrival, as other similar self-check in properties do.

Could not gain access on second night of stay, was left on door step trying to contact proprietor for at least 2 hours eventually got to talk to someone at booking .co. Entry system worked eventually. Also no tea or coffee provided as promised

Clean, well presented house and room. Just on the edge of the town, with riverside outlook. Unsure of area initially but it was actually quiet with no issues from other residents. Kitchen was adequate, with a microwave which I used and other facilities which I didn't use.

The pillow was a little big for me, not too uncomfortable though. The single quilt was a little small, but I am not used to sleeping in a single bed
