The tiled property is very clean, there is good storage to hang and put away clothes. The owner responded to the request for an entry passcode very promptly

£69 to rent a very basic ensuite room in a shared house, worse than student halls of residence. As a converted house, the appropriate sound insulation hasn't been installed between the walls or floors that you would get in a hotel room. Tap water was always warm, with a stale taste, so was unable to have a basic cold drink of water. I had room 5 Bed which was on the ground floor & faced onto the canal path, with no locking mechanism on the window, didn't feel I could safely leave the window ajar overnight. The bed was too hard for my liking, towels where clean but old and scratchy.

Very affordable accommodation. Comfortable beds and a good shower.

The WiFi connection was not good

There was no signs outside the property to help locate where the room was. There were no signs indicating where the bathroom and shower were location. I found it by chance.

Location was perfect for the station and great place to stay for reading festival

WiFi cut out at night the first night and never came back on. I texted the owner and reached out to Booking.com but no response. I moved out because I need WiFi to work, and they can’t even provide a refund for my 2nd which I didn’t even stay in the house. I texted the owner the night the WiFi went down and nothing to fix it, and you still want me to pay? And the room is close to the other rooms so you can hear them and it is a bad smell because it is downstairs.
