SA Village

This is a genuine homestay, you are in a Sri Lankan family home and it was really lovely. Our hostess was very helpful, she arranged a Tuk Tuk to take us to the Cave temple (although you could walk there from the property if you wanted) and the driver then did a mini tour for us of the surrounding area. We enjoyed an evening meal at the property and our hostess taught us some Sri Lankan phrases. The room is very comfortable, the bathroom is very small , wet room style and quite basic, however you have to remember that this is a room is someone's house and is priced accordingly. **If you're going to the Cave Temple then make sure to take some socks with you, its very well worth the visit but boy oh boy is the floor hot!!

The bathroom was very small and the wall between our bathroom and the room next door were very thin.

The room is very clean and the owners are very friendly and halpfull The breakfast was delicious

The owner is an extremely kind person and an excellent cook. She helped us arranging transportation as well as planning our trips. The house is also very well located right on the other side of the cave temple.

We are a little family with a one year old baby and we just loved staying with this lovely family. We got welcomed so warmly and the room was perfectly clean and got everything we needed. The hosts are so extremely friendly and we could just feel like at home. We had a super delicious dinner (which we could even eat in peace because they took care of our baby, thank you! :) They help with everything and can arrange a lot of things and give tips to explore the areas and sites to visit. We can 10000% recommend that nice place! So lovely! Thank you for everything!

Host was so helpful , they go out of their way to help us , the food was delicious.

WiFi got some problem when we are there .

Lovely place to stay. The hosts were so helpful. Gave us tea on arrival. Helped us sort out two bikes for hit. Host even walked us to the bus stand to get the us to Kandy. Nice breakfast too
