A lot of stairs for two 70+people but in fairness we did not specify when booking that we would have liked a room on the ground floor.2

Rob was friendly and helpful, and I was given a bigger room than expected which was a nice surprise. Clean and comfortable and a super convenient location for Ambleside centre and the bus station.

Not much - some gel/soap in the shower would be nice. And you might need earplugs depending on how late neighbouring rooms decide to stay up!

The first night the mattress was very uncomfortable for me as I have sciatica and need a good firm mattress
