Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, sehr nahe zur Bushaltestelle, zum Zentrum mit Läden, Restaurants etc. Das Einzelzimmer ist sehr klein bemessen, hat jedoch alles, was man braucht. Gastgeber ist freundlich.

Die Dusche hätte sauberer sein können. Das Zimmer liegt zur Hauptstrasse und ist eher nicht ideal für Personen, die Ruhe wünschen. Das Zimmer ist eher hellhörig, d.h. Gespräche aus dem Nachbarzimmer hört man teilweise.

We loved staying here with our Golden Retriever on our recent visit to Ambleside . We stayed 4 nights . My husband was in charge of accommodation and normally I prefer a separate , self catering cottage sort of arrangement ,as our dog can be a bit overwhelmed around too many new people and other dogs. But this suited us perfectly! It’s a separate little building behind the main lodge with its own entrance , and one of their dog friendly rooms . Beautiful view of the hills and very quiet and private . Includes a designated parking space ! ♥️ A brilliant plus in Ambleside! The bed is large and very comfy . Some may feel the room is a tad small , especially if you have a large breed dog like us , but He slept soundly , snoring his head off , so I don’t think he was bothered . 😅 Room was clean and ship shape . Very central , just a few minutes walk to all shops , restaurants and the busses . We didn’t try the breakfast as we had our dog with us , and didn’t inquire about options , but no shortage of excellent bakeries nearby to grab a quick pastry , which is all we need anyway . No toiletries were provided other than hand soap , which , again, was fine with us , as we never use those provided by hotels and prefer to bring our own . Really loved our stay here and would definitely stay again !

I booked a "dog friendly" room - and the room met all expectations ... I had great privacy - with all facilities met ... I will certainly recommend this hotel - and hope to visit again.
