Great location, the self contained unit was exactly what we needed (as we have a dog), and the room had all the facilities we needed.

Always nice to revisit.

Right in AMBLESIDE.. walkable to many restaurants, trails and shops. Comfortable bed.

We have stayed three times now, great location with parking. Clean, comfortable rooms with friendly staff.

Shower was very small. Not suited to a 17 stone weight lifter with broad shoulders.

Room was small in size but well appointed and well cleaned. Daily turn-down service was also good. Wi-fi signal was strong and speed good. Location-wise, it's very central and close to all amenities and restaurants.

Noise isolation is not great - even though the window was double-glazed, tho room was faving a bisu road and traffic noise was constant. Also partition walls were of plasterboard, and not well insulated, as I could hea my neighbours talking quite distinctly. Thankfully, I had ear plugs so I was able to sleep during the night. The bathroom was also quite tiny and getting into and out of the shower was challenging.

Location was excellent and staff were helpful. The dishes and cutlery provided were much appreciated. The nearby Altitude Cafe was excellent for breakfast.

This is the only place that we have ever stayed that did not provide soap and shampoo. A small fridge would have been appreciated.
