Awesome little BnB with amazing views of the hills and pastures. Great for someone with kids as there is are slide and swings at the back. Close to Matamata and ideal for someone planning to visiton Hobbiton.

Very private and modern one bedroom cottage located next to the original house, and continental breakfast supplied which came in handy as we had to leave early for our tour at Hobbiton. Beautiful garden and very friendly hosts which gave us tips on how to break the algorithms on the internet to get a last minute booking for the next day, to get on a tour around Hobbiton - which had been sold out up to that point.

Bathroom was fabulous and generous size. But shower needs a separate shelf for body soap and hair shampoo, because the existing one is very small and narrow and made only to hold a bar of soap, attached right in front of the shower taps. Every time I turned around to regulate the water temperature, I knocked over the house provided body soap container with my right elbow, then soon after my own shampoo bottle breaking both their caps. Not the end of the world - just a practical tip....... and then again, I'm 60 and a man, so maybe just clumsy....... jokes aside, a highly recommended stay. 10/10.
