Luvi Lucas River Side

It is a beautiful hotel in a calm part of weligama. It is so calm that in the mornings you can spot monkeys in the trees next to the balcony. As well as squirrels , beautifully coloured birds and peacocks ! The rooms are very spacious and have a big bathroom. There's also an indoor seating part in front of the room . Breakfast is really good and healthy and can be taken on the flooting terrace while overlooking the sunrise over the river. Truly magical . Beach is only 10 min walk away. And not to forget : the beds are extremely comfortable! If asked, the owner will arrange airport transfer or other taxi services!

Its a good place with awesome view! Friendly owner and nice breakfast. Very close to Weligama beach and main surf spot. Also restaurants and Foodsity is nearby like 5-7 min walk

Do not leave your food outside cuz monkeys can eat it )

A very big room and bathroom with loads of space for our luggae. Every room has its own small porch with a table a chairs overlooking the beautiful garden and the river. The location was very convenient as well, very quiet, but only 10 min walk from the surfers beach and the restaurants. A great place to chill. They offer laundry cleaning services and scooter rental too :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, we have been travelling around Sri Lanka and this was our favourite stay. It was beautiful by the river where you could enjoy your breakfast! We had a delicious smoothie bowl most mornings and also had eggs, toast and fruit another morning. The room was sooo clean and a very large room with a nice balcony to sit and relax. I read some reviews about mosquitoes but we didn’t see any, we didn’t even use the mosquito net provided. The hosts are super friendly and helpful! Their dogs are another bonus, they are so friendly, playful and soft. I would recommend this place to anyone

Nothing!!

We enjoyed our stay here, the room is nice and spacious, the bed was really comfortable, air con worked, nice spacious bathroom. Breakfast was good and the setting was lovely - right on the river. There was water refill and we were able to use the kettle in the kitchen which was nice.

Mosquitoes. The latch on our door was broken, so we couldn't just pull it too - this was a bit tricky with the mosquitoes around.

This was by far the best place I stayed in Sri Lanka: spacious room, clean bathroom, excellent WiFi and great breakfast. And location.

Beware of mosquitos when sitting outside, close to the river.

Every room has it's own terrace with a lounger, chairs and table which is perfect to spend the hot hours of the day in the shade. Rooms are equipped with AC and fan and are spacious and cozy. Beds have a mosquito net so you can have a peaceful sleep. The beach is a little more than 5min walk from the property. We enjoyed that the guesthouse was right next to the river where we saw some birds and wildlife. Breakfast varies and is a good start for the day. We booked for one night and stayed ten, because we liked everything so much.

The location is great. Cozy jungle garden, quiet and peaceful. A lot of shadow, good to spend time on the terrace. The room is nice and clean, spacious. The bad is comfortable, air conditioner works properly, blackout curtains. Few minutes from all the places you may wanna visit in weligama (2-7 mins by bike or 7-15 by foot). The owner and his family works there and they are extraordinary hospitable and cheerful. You literally feel the warm they share greeting you sincerely every day.
