The family are so kind and helpful! The kitchen area is great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Great location, hot shower, very helpful host, big equipped kitchen, bug nets on every bed and window. When there was a power outage in the town, the hosts very ready and gave us lanterns and candles.

The bathroom walls were peeling and dirty, but that's to be expected in the wet climate.

Everything was great!! The rooms are really spacious and the beds (with mosquito nets) are very comfortable. The outside kitchen area is very well equipped with all the basics including salt, pepper and oil. The location is set back from the main road and is 1 minute walk to the collectivo stop to Tikal (30Q there and 25Q back). It's also very close to several street food options, restaurants and the public swimming dock.

Nothing, everything was great! If you don't like animals, there are some very friendly dogs and cats who love some attention.

That it was small and family run, nothing fancy and served my needs as a solo traveler well.

The woman is very nice to wait for us even though we arrived very late at night, around 11PM. The beds are equipped with mosquito nets. Great location, nice and friendly staff, safe parking

Nice, clean and comfy little budget room in the center of El Remate : very close to ATMs, restaurants and colectivos. The staff/owners are really nice ! We liked having a mosquito curtain at our disposal.

Great staffi, great beds and excellent pillows, clean place,, I like everything.

The hostel was central and beautifully in midst of the nature. The price was relatively cheap and all around you had bars, restaurants, pharmacies and shops with a lot of choice.... To the lake it were 50 metres by foot and the water was chilly and clean. The hostals owner cared for her guest and all in all, I was very satisfied!!... Thank you, muchas gracias para todo! The internet worked also quite well!

Lovely place to stay. The lady is really nice. Information on transport to Tikal and Flores is provided, both private and public options. There's a kitchen you can use with drinking water available but if you don't fancy cooking you're right in the middle of the town with easy access to restaurants.
