Beautiful king room in Leith Walk

It was a perfectly nice accomodation very close to the city centre and surrounded by great options for eating out, very close to public transport if needed (especially well located for heading from and to the airport). The room was very comfortable with a soothing view to the distance. We were mostly there to sleep and shower, as our host was home as well and we did not want to bother.

Curtains did not close completely, but not really a problem. For the price and a longer stay, we would have liked either one laundry for used towels or a dryer for used towels as the bathroom has no window and textiles would not dry in the rooms. We felt a bit awkward to use the kitchen as our host was staying in the living room in front of the kitchen and we did not want to wake him up by rushing through. Not really a problem, as there are many cafes and restaurants in the proximity. In these cases, it might be nice for future guests to find a water boiler in the bedroom to make some tea. Just an idea, no must.

Owner was very friendly and helpful. Let you treat the house as if it was your own home

It wasn’t clear that the host live with you in the living room. So use the kitchen and living room is a little annoying

Nedeljko was a good host. The location of the apartment and the price-performance ratio are very good. In this case you rent a room in the host's apartment and share the bathroom, a good solution for a short break in Edinburgh.
