his really nice and friendly man Location : Iam not exaggerating if I said it’s the best location ( heart of the city ) Flat is clean / bathroom as well The kitchen is well prepared with all equipment and you can cook and make coffee / tea , he also allowed us to use the fridge I have only few suggestions that he may put in consideration 1-Put a kettle at the room in case anyone want to make something after 10pm. 2-change the curtain to darker color to block the sun at morning 3-Put one more blanket Last thing is the room is without a key as it’s his room.

The place was so cozy and very accessible to city centre

Excellent strategic location for accessing old town, Holyrood and Britannica. Very kind and friendly host who took great care to make us feel welcome and who respected our privacy.

Host staying in the flat should be communicated better on the booking page, I was made aware of this the day before our arrival. Sound-proofing of the room should be improved.

It was a perfectly nice accomodation very close to the city centre and surrounded by great options for eating out, very close to public transport if needed (especially well located for heading from and to the airport). The room was very comfortable with a soothing view to the distance. We were mostly there to sleep and shower, as our host was home as well and we did not want to bother.

Curtains did not close completely, but not really a problem. For the price and a longer stay, we would have liked either one laundry for used towels or a dryer for used towels as the bathroom has no window and textiles would not dry in the rooms. We felt a bit awkward to use the kitchen as our host was staying in the living room in front of the kitchen and we did not want to wake him up by rushing through. Not really a problem, as there are many cafes and restaurants in the proximity. In these cases, it might be nice for future guests to find a water boiler in the bedroom to make some tea. Just an idea, no must.
