Adelphi Guest House

Great location (easy stroll to the town centre or the water). Great breakfast. Helpfull & friendly landlady. Ensuite room had all mod cons. The lounge with the jig-saw to finish, is a nice touch.

Wifi was flaky at times. Bit of a stroll to the swimming pool.

Very close to all amenities spotlessly clean The breakfast was amazing Caroline was very attentive and a fabulous host would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again

Caroline was a brilliant host, so welcoming and lovely to speak with, room was great, food was great, and she was brilliant with our young daughter giving us good tips for the local area and places for lunch etc.

I stayed for 2 nights and it was excellent value for money!! It was clean, cosy, warm, had access to a private shower and toilet, kettle, teas and coffee selection, toiletries, breakfast. Caroline was absolutely lovely. Very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much for her at all. I will definitely stay here again :) it was also a very short walk to and from Southport train station.

I have no complaints at all

Nice communication before our arrival. Checking if there was anything she could do to ensure that our stay was going to be good. My husband has respiratory illnesses and I was not aware that the room I booked was on the 2nd floor. I explained to Caroline our difficulties and she sorted it out that we had the first floor. On our arrival Caroline greeted us was very welcoming and helpful. Helped us with our bags and showed us to our room. The room was clean and tidy A selection of tea coffee hot chocolate water and chocolates and biscuits. Plenty of storage for clothes. Working TV and kettle. Caroline provided us with information about the hotel the local area also places to eat near by. WiFi code was provided. She informed us the times of breakfast and asked what we would like. Sleep was comfy and warm. We all slept well. We asked for another pillow as my husband likes to be high up. It was added to our room while we were out for the evening The following morning Caroline had provided my daughter and husband with lactose free milk which I informed her before we arrived. Breakfast was great there was a nice selection of fruit yoghurt and cereal. Delicious hot well presented cooked breakfast toast and preserves also tea and coffee juice We stayed for 2 nights and on the last day we asked if we could have a late departure and this was no trouble at all. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it. Caroline is a wonderful host nothing was to much trouble And a great service provided.
