Pilkingtons Guest House Accrington

Good location for the town centre, train and bus stations. Private bathroom was immaculate. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious for the price.

Unfortunately the WiFi was unavailable during our stay. I feel it would be nice to replenish the porridge pots for guests staying for more than one night.

The location was good for central Accrington.

On the morning after my 2nd night there was no power to the sockets in the room so couldn't make a cup of tea. I didn't realise that the proprietor didn't stop on site. Just a phone number which went to voice mail.

Very friendly from the minute we arrived , given knowledge of local area . Room was spotless , couldn’t have asked for better

Stayed in Accrington for a night with my brother on a trip through Lancashire and booked this place due to the decent price. I didn't expect it to be so central or as lovely as it was. Big room, everything spotlessly clean. Can't fault it. Cannot express enough how lovely the lady who runs the guest house was — sorry for not asking your name, so I could use it in the review. She gave us loads of great info about the town, plus some brilliant recommendations. Her family history in the area and with the guest house goes back a long way. Will be sure to book again if we're ever in Accrington in rhe future.

This was my second short stay here - once again, everything was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Having a dedicated Bathroom is a real plus. Fantastic value and a wonderful stay to meet family.

Accrungt9n was much noisier than usual on this occasion, more noticeable in a room at the front but not so much of a problem to spoil either my sleep or stay.

It's not modern facilities, but at least it is very clean
