Pilkingtons Guest House Accrington

Could not get access to property as no one at site. Various messages ignored and finally tried to call them,but number stated at front of property now disconnected. Had my young son with me,who got extremely worried that we'd have nowhere to stay. Eventually found alternative accommodation. Absolutely disgusting from the so called hosts on this matter. Definitely not recommended to book with these.

Very friendly and welcoming. Did leeds liverpool canal, perfect as a half way stop. Bike storage available.

The proprietor was very informative and very friendly. Rooms were a good size and very clean.

The heating came on during the night so it was very warm and made slightly uncomfortable. Two of the rooms didn’t have en-suite bathrooms but they did have separate bathrooms.

Looked a mess from the front lots of weeds on front patio litter bottles boarded up houses and graffiti everywhere felt unsafe parked around the back of the house house looked run down again bottles litter graffiti everywhere we didn’t know whether we would stay until we had seen the inside

Amazing location, beautiful room. Spacious and lovely decor. Staff friendly when speaking on phone and via messenger, and lovely touch with amenities kit and breakfast included (which was enjoyed on the go once checked out)

The rooms were provided with tea and coffee facilities and breakfast was porridge and waffles which was already in a brown paper bag in the rooms the rooms were clean.before leaving we stripped the beds and put all the used towels and bedding together in each room and emptied the bins we let the rooms clean and tidy .

The only negative thing about our stay was the mattress was hard and uncomfortable did not getting much sleep the price was a bit expensive for what it was

Internet was average. Location was deplorable

The hostess did mot serve breakfast.The property was left unattended to for 24hours . No one to turn to on emergency! When called , she said it was her day off! Property mot fit for purpose as a guesthouse.

I liked how homely it was, it was so clean and tidy, the bed was so comfortable it enabled plenty of rest and how peacefully quiet it was, especially the area you couldn't hear any traffic or the trains going by.
