A relaxed environment in a busy Saturday evening village pub. Very efficient and helpful staff, with quick meal service and very good food. A comfortable room with facilities appropriate to the price and a friendly host. Also a quiet rural location, ideal for a weekend away.

Dining in the restaurant was excellent, qualty food at great prices.

The fact that the kettle only managed to reach warm after two hours. No plug for the whb, no hot water, and one of most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in. Three times I mentioned the kettle being broke, but nothing happened. I won't stay again. Two completely different stories.Downstairs fantastic, rooms not so. There was no option for breakfast, as was offered on booking.com.

Staff gave us free drink on the house and free crisp due to faults of the accomodation out of their control. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately there was a beeping noise all night long. Staff said they had rang the engineer to sort it. Kettle didn't work and there was no hot water for a shower.
