Stayed for 5 nights on a very uncomfortable bed with no top sheet and flat pillows. The bedding nor room never got cleaned the whole time I was there. The shower did not work it was a plumbing issue either scolding hot or freezing cold. The radiators in the room did not work and I was cold at night. The heated towel rail in the bathroom did not work and was very dirty..I had prepaid and it was close to where I needed to be was my reason for staying otherwise I would have definitely left.

Everything! I got there around 7 in the evening and was shown to my room, when the young man opened the door, the bed was unmade so he quickly shut the door again and said that he needed to sort the room out, I was asked to wait and it would be about 10 minutes. I went to my car to wait but nobody came to inform me that it was ready so I went back to the room after 20 mins. The sheets were not changed, he had just fixed the bed. The place was quite isolated and I was a female by myself so I was not confident enough to complain further. When I got ready for bed a constant beeping started. I phoned the hotel number and spoke to a member of staff, who said that he would sort it out, after about an hour it was still going so I called again but the phone went to voicemail! I messaged twice after that with no answer. I got absolutely no sleep all night and the guy in the room next to mine said he hadn't got any sleep for 2 nights as it had been faulty the night before as well. The next afternoon I called the hotel from work and spoke to the manager who assured me it was fixed and that he would refund me 1 nights money. I asked when and he told me on Saturday. When I didn't get the refund on Saturday, I called on Monday to chase it up and the manager said that he would do it that afternoon...I still hadn't received it the next day so I messaged him on Facebook messenger, to which his response was to block me and now everytime I call and they realise it's me, they hang up on me. Absolutely disgusting customer service, if you are not going to refund me at least have the decency to tell me instead of messing me around even more. I will never stay there again and I will never recommend it to anyone. The guy seemed really nice, just goes to show you can't trust anyone. It was overall an extremely upsetting experience.

The location for my business meeting was ideal

No breakfast available, I booked this hotel due to advertised breakfast availability. It required 3 attempts to be provided with a cleanish adequate room. Bed uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel, I shall book elsewhere for further meetings in the future

very cold as no heating on overnight staff unable to supply vat receipt for stay or food tried on a few occasions to sort this with no joy
