Amoryg Resort and Dive Raja Ampat

El personal muy amable y muy atento, la habitacion en primera linea de playa y se puede hacer snorkel en la puerta de casa. Destacar el trato de Ramdha cuidandonos en el hotel y por su energia positiva y a Oiguen por cuidarnos haciendo snorkel! Nos ha encantado!!!!!

Nada destacable

The island is beautiful and peaceful.Now it is low seson, but it was really good for us!The heart of the place is Ramdhan, nice,kinde,takes care of everything! He made us several activities and fantastic picnic on the beach what we never forget! Thanks to all the staff for their kidness and the delicious food,it was amasing! We felt at home:)

You have to be prepared that it is an isolated island, and you won’t have any suprise about not all time avaiable electricity or wifi.

Keine Reinigung während 7 Tagen, Ausflüge teuer, Schnorchelmaterial alt, nur Salzwasser im Badezimmer, keine Liegestühle, viel Abfall am Strand, Elektrizität nur von 18 Uhr bis Mitternacht, daher keine Klimaanlage in der Nacht, keine Kartenzahlung möglich (nur Wise)

Our stay at Amoryg Resort in Mansuar was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The location is stunning, but what truly made our experience exceptional was the amazing service we received from the entire team. A special thank you to Ramdhan for his attentiveness and warm hospitality, he made us feel at home every single day. Oyen impressed us with his snorkeling guidance and caring attitude, every outing was magical thanks to him. Afri was always there with a smile, offering outstanding assistance at any hour, and his energy and kindness truly stood out. And Andy, with his friendly presence and helpful nature, made everything easier and more enjoyable. Every member of the team went above and beyond, and we left with unforgettable memories and full hearts. We’re already dreaming of coming back one day. Thank you for everything!

Great rustic experience with fab staff

We thought the location was pretty good with access to boats to take us snorkeling. The nearby excursion prices were reasonable. However, we were never told everything all the time. It would have been helpful to know when there was going to be a village where we needed money or if a tax is charged to go to a spot. The meals were simple but good; more drink options would be nice as only coke and beer are on offer (coke zero and juices would be nice). Decent reef off the beach but spoiled by garbage with the currents at times.

While we understand the remoteness of this area, we felt there were a few things that could be improved. Not until after we booked, did we learn of the cost involved in getting to the resort from the ferry, the park fees you pay after arriving at the ferry, the power only being on at night and the fact that the showers were not fresh water or hot. This could have been divulged in the resort description. The fact that there was AC was great but people need to know it does not work all that well either (even setting it at the lowest temp of 16C the room barely cooled off to 24C!). While there is a StarLink dish for internet which was great, it did not always work – staff often forgot to switch it from solar to power as well. When it did work, it worked well in the common areas and but just barely reached our room. Some suggestions to improve the place: a ladder on the jetty would make getting in and out of boats much easier for older people. A ceiling fan that runs on solar would help the common area (and would help in the rooms – the bed could also be placed better to receive the air flow from the AC unit). We stayed at the resort for four nights and were never offered fresh towels or toilet paper; we had to ask for the latter when needed as rooms were not serviced during our stay. While some of your staff speaks English, they are not always clear in the information they give you and they tell different things to different guests. The last thing I’d like to say is not a reflection of your resort per se; the state of the ocean around these islands is very sad – so MUCH garbage floats in the currents and spoils the experience. Your resort has a pretty good reef out there too. The government needs to educate your citizens better and the management of garbage needs much improvement. This place will stop bringing in tourist dollars as this condition worsens.

Snokling right at the pier, water very clear and full of fish. Wonderfull cuisine. Not many mosquitos. Aircond available.

Not really anything was negative if we come here with a proper idea of what a remote island represents in term facilities. But if we expecting sheraton marina dubai better not come to raja ampat

Food was great every time. AC worked but wasnt that efficient. Surely better than a fan though! Slept really well. Snorkeling right off the pier was mindblowing with sharks and a resident Napoleon.

Salty cold water showers for a week are a tough nut to crack but this seems to be the norm through Raja Ampat so what can you do ☺️

Calm place, really nice food. Nice and helpful staff who speaks English. Nice room compared to Raja Ampat accomodations, but still expect cold water and limited electricity. Strong wifi signal. Really nice dive shop.

Sometimes a big trash island appears on the sea that we didnt experience in other spots. But it depends I guess on the tides , currents and season.

One of the best house reef with turtles, schools of fish, reef sharks and healthy corals. The room is nice and comfy, the staff nice and the manager speeks great english. They make amazing meals for lunch and dinner (the breakfast is simple). Exelent location on a private beach, lot of bird and outstanding sunsets. Their dive shop in good hands. Elis the divemaster is really really good, take care of everybody!

The only downside is the trash on the sea. Sometimes ecerything clean sometimes a big trashriver comes with the tides and the current. It a problem everywhere in Raja Ampat..
