Great, location with spacious rooms and balconies. Great views of the ocean, and as close as you would want to be to the beach in a storm. Roberto, the manager, was super helpful and speaks perfect English, so it was easy to understand details about surfing and everything else around Puerto Escondido

Might have been good having nets over the bed, or screens on the windows, but there were only a dozen mosquitos in the middle of the wet/mosquito season . Being so close to the ocean, and having some wind helps keep the bugs away.

The mattress felt quite old and wasn’t very comfortable, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

Quiet location in walking distance to lively areas. Open air space with hammock and totally shaded. Totally great bilingual host with a cool dog.

If you book the space with a kitchen and plan to make coffee take your own pour over or french press and matches.

The place is really beautiful

Sadly the host was super creepy and was hitting on me as soon as my partner left the property and proceeded to grab me, force himself on me, wouldn’t allow me to get past him and wouldn’t listen to my various no’s. Finally after I managed to get upstairs and have a conversation with my partner we decided to leave the property early hours of the morning because we felt too uncomfortable to stay. It’s a real shame that a little kindness can be taken as “horsing around” (as described by the host). Personally this isn’t my style so I wouldn’t recommend nor would I go back.
