The Aidan Guest House

The location was good. quite close to all the main attractions and right opposite the big red hop on hop off bus, which was very convenient. Comfortable bed. Parking on site, a bonus and a very good extensive choice of breakfast.

It was adequate for the reasonable price paid but a little tired and in need of a bit of updating. The room was very small, the shower was not great

Room was cold. 2 singles pushed together. Small duvets. Couldn't use hairdryer as the mirror was too far from socket. Step in toilet dangerous. Bedside lamp was faulty. Had to go downstairs to get milk for our room. Breakfast was awful. The way we had to pay seemed a bit dodgy. She took my card from me to get all the details.

Our private bathroom was across the landing , although it was lovely and clean I would have preferred an en suite .

The Aidan Guest House is located about a 10-15 minute walk from Stratford's train station and about the same distance from Stratford's historic center where you will find Shakespeare's birthplace. The Anne Hathaway house is a 20-minute walk away down a path near the guesthouse. The rooms are basic, but clean with good Wi-Fi. A good English breakfast is served every morning. The best thing about Aiden Guest House is Monika, the host, who is friendly, helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay and do recommend this guesthouse for a short stay in Stratford.
