The Pavilion - Stunning, 4 Bedroom House with Free Parking

Location was suitable for our needs being close to family. Lots of space for our group.

Missing essential items like toilet paper, hand towels, coffee, sugar etc. making it less suitable for a short stay. Linens need a refresh.

The house was a good size and comfortable, clean and mostly well presented

The kitchen was not well equipped for a house that slept up to 6 there was only 3 cereal bowls, no mixing bowls, scales etc. Only 2small pots, two small frying pans and two small baking sheets . Maybe most people eat out…….. There is good washing machine but facilities for drying clothes were not obvious. We did find a pull out line in the garden but nowhere to attach it too and it was rusty and dirty. The garden was also unkempt which was a shame as it would have been a lovely spot for a morning coffee or to eat dinner of an evening otherwise. Only two games in the cupboard. Had to contact agent on arrival for lock box code, despite advising arrival time. None of these are deal breakers but expectations were a little higher based on descriptions.

The carpets were in need of a clean & one or two bulbs didn't work (neither of which affected our stay). The rear garden could do with some attention too

Its loveley to be able to get all the family togther in a private house, and this property had everything we could need including secure parking for 2 cars.

a fan in all rooms would have been good given how hot it was this weekend....... but at least we had fans in 2 of the bedrooms ...... thanks

It was a nice size for our family with a contemporary decor & a decent sized backyard. The host was very accommodating when items were requested. It was a pleasant stay.

Although the decor was contemporary & initially completed to a high standard, it was not well maintained & rather tired. The kitchen was not properly cleaned; we encountered a dirty fridge, food on the counter tops & greasy gunk under the plastic tub in the kitchen sink. The blue sofa upholstery had an unsightly broken zip, & we had to ask for oven trays & tea towels. One single bed was wobbly, & the white linen would benefit from bleaching to render it white once again. There was also a small tear in one duvet cover I felt necessary to photograph & send to the property owner, in case we might be blamed for it. As the summer weather was lovely we would have enjoyed utilising the backyard for barbecue dinners, though it was unkempt & without a bbq (though it never stated one was available). A number of UK channels on the tv did not work.

Easy together to from the motorway. In a quiet cul de sac. Modern, well equipped.

To remote controller didn’t work properly.
