Great central location, a lovely period property , great range of equipment and utensils, beds made up on arrival and clean towels provided. A helpful welcome pack. Easy directions given to find the property, great communication throughout the booking process.

Bathroom & downstairs conservatory windows did not open which was a shame as it would of been nice to get some fresh air into the rooms especially as we had warm weather when we stayed.

A fantastic location and grand house with lots of space and comfort for our stay

The Aga oven was constantly on and gave off a large amount of heat making the kitchen and dining area very uncomfortable with the heat and also it gave off an oily/gassy smell and we had no clue how to use it so just ate out all the time.

Good location. Nice, well kept house.

There was quite a bit of recycling left outside and we were not too sure where to put ours as there didn't appear to be a blue bin. We didn't find enough toilet paper and on one of the pillows in the bedroom on the second floor there was a small bloodstain which we found on arrival.

Beautiful, spacious property that was a pleasure to stay in. Loved it!

Nice and warm and near center

The house is lovely and warm. Nicely decorated.very convenient for the town.

The main bathroom had no blinds and next door windows overlooking the room. Felt cold and very open.

The house is located very close to the old walled part of York, ideal if you’ve travelled by train and it’s easy to walk from the station. The house is very well equipped and the beds are extremely clean and comfortable.

The main living room was very dusty with several cobwebs very visible. The outside cushions for the furniture were stored behind the conservatory couch and were damp and mouldy, I think previous guests must have used them and they were left outside at some point.

Lovely house with lots of original features. We were 4 friends and we were all very happy with our rooms. Everything you could wish for in the house. Fantastic location and a few minutes walk you are at York Minster.

Great place had all we needed, short walk to city centre, Lovely warm aga and loved the log burner

Could do with little side tables in living room to put drinks on, and even thou frosted glass would of liked blinds in bathroom but everything else was good

Great location. Lovely house. Nice courtyard for sitting out. Well equipped.

Mayb more frosting on bathroom window.... could be seen from next door!
