No43: Versatile 4BR coastal home with summer house

The place was really spacious. Very well presented. We all loved the Hosts' welcome touch of flowers, wine and essentials, i.e., milk, bread and eggs. The location in Cowes was perfect as a base. The hosts were excellent.

The only downside was on street parking. We were lucky, though, as we always found a spot to park.

Everything is perfect and couldn’t ask for better. Hosts are amazing and even had essentials in the fridge and cupboards for us thank you on such short notice

Great proximity to the High Street. Clear consideration of guests' potential needs from takeaway menus, toiletries, kitchen condiments and spices.

There were too many spiders for our son who has a borderline phobia, so just to be mindful if spiders are not your thing.

The house came with everything you’d need from dishwasher tabs, washing powder, tea, coffee, sugar and the landlady even put milk, eggs, bread, butter etc in the fridge. A bottle of wine and flowers were on the table on arrival, which was a lovely touch. There are 3 bathrooms each with a shower and toilet which was great. There’s a lovely big garden with a summerhouse at the bottom which is like an extra living room. The house is very spacious and in close walking distance to the high street. The area is very quiet.

Whilst dogs are not meant to go upstairs, the upstairs bedrooms have got a dog odour as did some of the bedding. We didn’t use the living room as it didn’t smell very nice.

Master Bed mattress was very uncomfortable but plenty of other rooms to use

Proximity to restaurants and town. Roomy and comfortable.

Parking could be a problem.
