Stylish Hot Tub House with free parking!

Great location

Tv did t work properly, ok we are on holiday and that shouldn’t be an issue really, but if something is offered it should work 1 toilet roll for 4 adults for 3 days, had to buy more ourselves Kitchen floor not mopped , tea bag stains on floor near bin as thought someone had thrown them at bin and missed

We have just had a stay at this lovely house just on the outskirts of York City Centre this week. It's just a fifteen minute walk to the shambles area. The house is lovely, clean and comfortable. All the beds and sofas were so comfortable. The house has everything you need for a self-catering break away in York. There is plenty of space for all to sit in the living area comfortably. The hot tub was lovely and clean. 100% recommend this house to anyone. Owners were lovely. Easy to get to. Close to the centre and just a lovely break from home with all you need

We only had 2 issues on arrival, which were only 2 teaspoons and 5 knives in the cutlery draw. The 2nd was the garden was completely overgrown with bramble bushes over hanging the table and chairs, making them be covered in bird poo and brambles and weeds all around the stones in the garden. I contacted york boutique let's on arrival and they were mortified the cleaner and hot tub guy hadn't informed them about how bad things had gotten. I said it was fine, but I wanted to let them know before the next guests stayed, but we did need more cutlery. The following day , we left the missing cutlery, and they somehow got a gardener straight away, and the garden was sorted out the following afternoon by a lovely guy they employed. He was really lovely and told us all about York. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for anymore. They were quick to respond to those 2 issues. Definitely recommend this property. If anything on a negative point is the outside furniture. Could do with updating to something more comfortable as it's only an old picnic bench with 2 orange plastic chairs, but not really a negative. It's just a suggestion to make it even better, as it is fine to sit out on. Just to make it more luxury like the rest of the house was.

Great location with free parking. Parking is a pain in York so it's a great bonus. About 15 minutes walk to the cobbled streets. The house is a great size and bedrooms also. Very comfy beds. Kitchen has everything you need for good stay Hot tub is a great way to relax after a hard day walking around York.

Its not that this spoiled our stay/ holiday. However Living room needs new furniture. Sofas have had their day and the big yellow chair is very stained. Bathroom although functional needs a make over. Bit tired and shower not great. Step up to the bath may not suit people with mobility issues. Property is Dog friendly. The garden has no gate and fence to the rear of the property needs fixing. Just doesn't feel that secure when out in the hot tub . The stylish hot tub house just needs a wee bit of TLC to make it great again.

Amazing location, 10-15mins walk into York centre.

We loved the house and the decor is lovely in all the rooms the hot tub was wonderful after a days sight seeing ..fit us all in easily..6 seats .. 14 mins easy flat street walk into town ..bus stop just round corner from house and coming back home the bus stops across from house so perfect for ppl getting buses ..they run like every 10 mins

Maybe the lounge and dining room would be better Swopped around as the dining rooms bigger so u could get an extra sofa in it ..if u had 6 guests the lounge isn’t big enough really as it is now ..was only 4 of us so fine for us ..no complaints tho all was lovely and a well equipped kitchen We all enjoyed our stay ..dining table seats 8 Good for playing games round

Good location

Very strong smell of damp on entry to the house. Dining room chairs covered in crumbs. One of the single beds is completely sunken - felt like a hammock.
