Stylish Hot Tub House with free parking!

The decor was really nice, and the location was amazing!

The shower was terrible!

The location was perfect, easy walking distance to the city centre. The house was comfortable and the rooms were a good size.

Not the fault of the cleaners or owners but the previous guests must have been smoking in the property as the smell when we arrived was quite strong and not pleasant.

Stylish, clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Nice beds and towels.

Bath/shower difficult to get in and out. An extra toilet would have helped. There’s nowhere to hang towels and robes outside.

Location was ideal.

The back garden is over grown with weeds, the hot tub was dirty and scummy round edges. The windows were full of mould.

Clean spacious amazing location! Literally 12 min walk into town or a bus stop outside house!

not a lot it was great but if we had to say anything Sofas were so uncomfortable

A few little to do bits: Bathroom door needs attention doesn’t lock and one of our group got locked in Step out of bath tricky an older person would struggle Sink very slow to drain in bathroom sink Very hot in bedrooms need to supply fans Garden needs a big tidy so doesn’t look so small Hot tub great but not all jets work Needs a full length mirror Tricky hair drier as mirrors not placed to use the drier safely I have raised a few points which would make the stay better but we used the house as a base and enjoyed a wonderful 3 days in York……

I liked the communication I received from the host prior to my stay, I also liked the self check in with the key safe, it was also nice to be welcomed into a warm house an the heating already be on and the hot tub already set up and ready for us to use when we arrived, was a nice touch. The location was brilliant only 20 minute walk into York and 5 minute in a taxi, really convenient location, loved the free parking at the property too. The house was decorated lovely and to a high standard and was clean, all rooms downstairs and upstairs were a great size, never felt like it was too small. Beds were comfy, had somewhere to hang up clothes and their were hair dryers already provided, didnt need to bring my own, extension leads were a great touch as their were needed as mirror on wall wasn't near a socket and lead on straightners wouldn't of reached otherwise when getting ready. Neighbours were friendly.

Remote on TV didn't work as the batteries had ran out, wanted to do a film night on last night, which we couldn't do so was a shame. Only left two toilet rolls for the whole weekend for 5 people, so ran out on our last day as they were cheap rolls. Bathroom door catches in lock when trying to reopen it after locking, makes you feel like your going to get locked in. Shower over bath took 5 minutes to run through hot and very slow pressure. Bath is really high from floor, when getting out of Bath to step onto step and then floor, it's unsafe with your balance especially with wet feet, didnt feel safe. Noticed when bus or cars went past the property if bedroom doors were shut upstairs it would shake the house and make the doors rattle, which woke me up a few times through the night and early morning. Key safe on backgarden was on the floor, took us a while to find, not ideal for people with mobility issues to get down on floor, should be situated on wall higher up but can see why they've not done that, so it's hidden and not insight for security reasons. The numbers are stiff to move an was tempermental to close it. The bushes in the back yard needed trimming back as slightly overgrown but wasn't really an issue.

Central location so easy to access the City of York. Nice clean house and tastefully furnished.

Can be tricky getting things dry amongst six people. Insufficient bins for recycling but that may be more down to local authority.
