Very good condition apartment. Clean and tidy. Great location and instructions within the apartment helps also

An ensuite for the attic room would be great but understand why there isn't one

it was a home from home, even had a some milk supplied for a reviving cuppa.

More a reminder for myself when taking my mum. that she struggles with stairs now. honestly the property itself was everything we could have wished for otherwise.

Loved the log burner, very cosy. Loved the location as very easy to access York centre, no problems parking and lovely croissant shop at end of street.

Bath unusable due to difficulties getting in and out, also uncomfortable. Shower door handle was not fitted correctly, a family member could not get out of the shower as there was no handle on the inside. The beds were hard and uncomfortable which led to sleepless nights. Cinema room was impressive but not accessible due to the basement being cold and hard to heat up.

Insufficient wood on arrival

The location next to York was fabulous - walking distance to everything. The wood burning stove came in handy as it was cold and the heated floor in the bathroom was a nice touch. Parking was a convnient location. The house was energy efficient and you had the option of heating the rooms you wished to use. The movie / games room was a nice way of using the downstairs space.

The beds were sadly not comfortable. The property is listed as pet friendly although you are not allowed to leave your pet unattended which I think can be misleading. If you wanted to go for dinner on an evening, you need to take your dog which I think reduces flexibility of your holiday. The basement games room is great but my husband is over six feet tall and the ceiling is very low, Great for kids, not so much adults

The location was excellent a 10 minute walk to the station and a 10 minute walk into the city.

Location was fabulous, a very comfortable place to stay. A bonus to meet our host on arrival.
