Sea Glass Cottage

Great location for being close to Seaham Beach. Lovely quiet road. Very easy to find and to get in. Parking right outside the front door. Great value for money compared to some other places. Well equipped kitchen. Nice and warm given the cold weather.

A few cobwebs in the bathroom corners. The towels provided could have been better - given just one large towel and two smaller hand towels for two adults... Providing one large towel per adult would overcome this issue easily. Having a few tea bags for guests always appreciated too in my experience.

The owners have not compromised on producing what you would expect. No disappointments. No list of rules or requirements so I hope we lived up to it.

We're easily pleased but if something's wrong I would mention it.i can't think of anything. We visit the area a lot.

Tidy, quite area, near a lot of places.Easy to look after.

Next door neighbour was noisy at times.Bins were full.

Nice location for what we were doing. The cottage was well equipped. Quiet at night.

With just a bit more thought about comfort over costs, this would elevate the whole experience. The bedding was quite poor quality. The towels provided had an odd smell. Shower curtain had lots of mould spots.

So quiet, peaceful and comfortable. I had the best 3 nights of sleep I've had in years. My stay was for a mixture of work and leisure so I was only really at the cottage for breakfast and sleep The list of what was at the cottage was good. It was detailed enough for me to know what I did and didn't need to bring. Plenty of kitchenware.

A bin bag would have been handy.
