Sea Glass Cottage

Have stayed at Sea Glass Cottage several times before. The kitchen has been refurbished since our last stay in 2024. Good location for exploring the surrounding area, especially the beach at Seaham.

Could benefit from a few minor improvements to make it more comfortable.

Very nice kitchen

The furnishings and beds were very outdated and towels looked dirty too! Walls are very thin so could hear both neighbours tvs and they weren’t loud, bathroom wasn’t too bad

The kitchen was very clean and new and modern.

It smelled of damp. It would have been very useful to have a coffee table in the lounge - somewhere to put your drink rather than on the floor. There was no bedside light or switch so I had to go and get a cheap lamp so that I could read in bed. The neighbouring houses were intrusively noisy. One side having the TV on loudly from 5 am one morning. The other side with a noisy family life and a dog. The shower had no power at all .

The Cottage is located near the Beaches. The Kitchen is brand new and in the morning the sun shines in brightening your day. Beds are very comfy and clean. We enjoy coming and staying here. We have tried a couple of other places but have come back to Sea Glass Cottage. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They are very easy to contact.

Location just whar me wanted, quiet street close to beach for walking

Needs bit of tlc, somethings that were broken or needed repairing 2 years ago still the same, although it's relatively cheap I would imagine there enough money to do the few jibs to finish if off

Quaint and clean. Everything we needed. Easy drive to beaches and 2 minute walk to lovely restaurant

Everything was good!

Great location, really close to the sea. Pictures are accurate. Good for the price. Plenty of kitchen supplies pans, bowls etc. Sturdy furniture.

Only half a roll of toilet paper and no spares. No lamp in the bedroom so big light or nothing. We were given two keys but only needed one, this resulted in a good few minutes locking and unlocking trying to work out the combination needed to open the door.

Gorgeous little cottage in a lovely location. Everything you would need provided. Clean and great
