Bright 3 bedroom townhouse near city centre

Comfortable accommodation, great location

Crockery, cups, kitchen equipment and furnishing OK. Good selection of games / book / jigsaws.

Strong smell of cat urine in the front room. Beds were not good in great condition. Single bed it transpired had broken slats rendering it beyond use. First floor bedroom at rear (with single bed) is annexed off another. Not ideal. Pull out bed only good for one person. Not ideal for 6 adults (3 pairs) sharing at all. Flooring on ground floor is sub standard and needs repair / replacing as in places it is broken and could easily present a trip hazard. The flooring makes a lot of noise too, which given ist the only way to access groundfloor bathroom was an issue at night. Shower rail loose, shower head rail loose, toilet seat loose. Most window handles are stiff to operate and loose. Parking absolute nightmare as we had 3 vehicle. Possible rodent issue.

The home was clean and the information provided was well presented and easy to find.. My close adopted family found it a little hard with the stairs and bath height but that didn't stop them enjoying the stay

Callum the owner doesn't respond to any messages if you aren't happy with something. We are waiting for our money back but he doesn't even respond to booking.com or myself. We didn't like the strong smell of damp as soon as we walked into the house, the raised screws that were in the wooden floor, the broken strip that was also on another part of the wooden floor, the broken sharp tiles that was a danger to my son with Autism as he likes to go bare feet. The chest of drawers in the bigger bedroom had the back hanging off with sharp staples hanging out, broken smaller drawers in the single room. The strong smell of damp also affected my husband's breathing as he has asthma, the single bed in the bedroom was unsuitable for anyone to stay in. The dishwasher smelt like something had died in it, the back door didn't seem to lock properly. We felt very unsafe in this house. The squeaky floorboards and the street itself was awful, we couldn't stay any longer as it was unsafe for my husband and child. We felt like we was in a prison, had to keep the curtains in the tiny living room shut as people walk straight past the window, couldn't go in the back garden as there was a low fence and a very loud barking dog next door. Our family Holiday was very stressful and ruined by this awful experience, we had to spend over £600 for another accommodation for my family to stay to try and save the rest of our holiday. I have plenty more photos but unfortunately I can only put 4 up on this review.

The availability of kitchen ware to make our own preferred food.

The bathroom sever is not good, when having shower the water is stack in the bathtub. Poor floor. Also the bed in the smaller bedroom is in bad condition, not suitable for use.

It was clean and bright, with good cooker/hob, fridge freezer and dish washer. There is plenty of drawer and hanging space in the bedrooms. Everywhere was very clean including the bed linen. There is some enclosed outside space with table and chairs.

The shower was not usable unless you like cool showers. It was also impossible to get into for anyone with mobility issues as the bath sides are very high. We found the single and double beds quite uncomfortable.

Had everything we needed and was comfortable. A nice quiet area not too far from the centre.

A fairly long walk to the centre for anyone with limited mobility.
