Lovely quaint cottage , very clean and comfortable. The village of Shaldon is a small village with a great bakers and butchers and some great pubs within a very short walk. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. We tried to reserve the available parking space but on arrival the managing company told us it was already booked and not available, but they hadn't informed us . Parking by the cottage is extremely difficult and driving around the small village difficult too . But this is normal and expected for a Devonshire village

Cosy cottage in a great location - pub, village shop and fish and chip shop all with in 2 minutes walk. Only suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

It definitely could have been a lot cleaner. The towels were poor quality and as rough as sandpaper. Only 1 hand towel provided for 3 people. Basic Freeview TV - no access to Netflix, etc. No DVD player. There was no welcome/starter pack eg. milk

Property is in a very good location for pubs, local shops and the beach. House was clean and welcoming, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice.

Nothing to say here, it ticked all the boxes for us.

Really lovely cottage that was perfect for me and my son. Excellently located for anything and everything that you might want to get involved with in Shaldon.

Helle freundliche Unterkunft. Tolle Betten und ordentliches Badezimmer. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt.

A very peaceful location despite being a just few minutes walk away from the local shops and the beach. The cottage is well decorated and comfortable. Unlike many holiday homes the kitchen was a good size with plenty of storage, the bathroom had space for a shower & bath to suit all tastes. There was space to relax inside and a small courtyard. Beds were comfortable. Weather was excellent so we were out for much of the stay but you felt at home once you came through the door. A special note of thanks for the letting management who were happy to answer all my issues around booking-in without data on my phone and the more bizarre about whether we needed to bring our tea pot - we did as they confirmed there wasn't one!

The only issue that we all had was with the noise from the bathroom fan which is a continuous background extract that makes very variable noises which are more noticeable at night when the town falls quiet; we had to keep the doors closed so that it didn't disturb our sleep. The location was in all other respects incredibly quiet in relation to its proximity to the centre of Shaldon. (The survey implies that I had asked for a quiet room as part of the booking process - I hadn't so do not know where that was generated?)

Gorgeous cottage, clean and beautiful! We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely stay here again
