Shaldon is a very pretty village and the property is well located. The cottage itself is very good.

The experience of dealing with Hopewell leaves a bad taste. The impression they give is that they are only interested in getting more money off you, even after you have paid in full on a non-refundable basis. I would not want to deal with them again.

"Super Stay in Shaldon"

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay at the cottage. Superb location, very close to the village store and heart of the village. Key collection was easy. The property is very clean and well appointed, we felt like we were at home. The beds were super comfy too. We walked to 'The Ness' pub for an evening meal one night - great food and views!

VG KITCHEN

Absurb and unwarrant delay in receiving the entry code on both email and MSM . I had to contact HOPEWELL to obtain the code. Original messages did not arrive until mid morning the following day.. (Hopewell very helpful). No hairdryer No info about the cottage eg rubbish / recycling no details about what to do if the power trips out no phone number for the owner No details about the local area eg taxis / transport / restaurants / things to see
