North View cottage. Shaldon village.

Lovely cottage, short walk into the village centre. Modern fitted kitchen and full bathroom with bath and shower. Comfortable bed, lovely decor with nautical light fittings.Terrace was a real sun-trap. The Local butcher and bakers just down the road were brilliant!

The cottage is 'dog friendly' but sadly not the beach during the summer, which was a shame. There was an issue with the parking space(s) and the other owner of the parking area said we were in 'their' space. It needs clear signage and not the current instructions to park in either space, 'first come first served' or the issues with the other owners resolved asap.

The position in the centre of Shaldon was great

The seating, especially the settee was very uncomfortable and needs replacing. There was only seating for 3 people. There was no offer of a change of bedding or towels after the first week

Village is fabulous. Property is lovely, generally clean.

Black painted stairs in property made it hard to see. The garden isn't a garden it's a seating area and we were disappointed not to have a garden when you did list one.

Great location. Fully equipped kitchen. Cosy and homely.

Car parking a little distance away...but all good.

location was great close to the beach and all restaurants and bars, short ferry ride over to Teignmouth where there are plenty of shops
