Minsmere Cottage

Super sweet cottage - which was good value for money - but I didn't realise the stairs were very steep - and I was travelling with my elderly parents! But I would recommend for all able guests!

Ideal location for exploring the local nature reserves at Minsmere, Dunwich and Westleton. Well appointed cottage full of character. Grateful that the central heating was still on as the unseasonably cold mornings could have made the stay much less comfortable.

The shower head in the upstairs bathroom requires fixing as it will not stay in position. Other than that small niggle, a pleasant stay.

Beautiful period cottage with a good amount of space inside. Lovely garden where you can sit and watch the stars at night. Really cosy stay.

Spacious 3 bed property , full of character in small village of Yoxford. 2 bathrooms, plentiful hot water. Small courtyard garden which we didn't use. Plentiful parking opposite. Worked perfectly for our needs

Lovely place, plenty of rooms and beds. Bathroom and kitchen facilities comprehensive. Very warm. Parking easy on street. We stayed near Christmas, and dining room was decorated, which was delightful!

One of the beds had slats which fell out very easily, ended up switching to a different one.

Plenty of room. Good bathrooms and a fully functional kitchen. Good location for my work and the Kings Head is one of my favourite pubs.

Decor is a bit depressing and apart from the bathrooms, everything feels outdated and unloved. The oven has a habit of turning itself off and one of the beds in the twin room kept collapsing. I don't know where the WIFI is located, but it was sporadic at best.

A very old house full of character and hidden staircases. The heating made the whole house very welcoming and we weren't short of space. The wood burner made the lounge the place to be in the late evening. All bedrooms were of very good sizes, we would have used the second bedroom if it had the double bed so as to enjoy the views from the rear.

An extra lamp at the rear of the lounge would make a big difference. Despite location, neither of us could get usable mobile coverage (EE and Vodafone). The free wi-fi is clearly located next door and offered fleeting service at best, nothing really useable.
