Garden Cottage - Ashover Village near Matlock

Nice property well presented and comfortable. The owner was attentive and welcoming.

Es sah alles noch sehr neu und hochwertig aus und ist liebevoll mit vielen Details eingerichtet. Es gab ausreichend Geschirr, sodass man nicht zu jeder Mahlzeit abwaschen muss und den Geschirrspüler anmachen kann, wenn er voll ist. Der kleine Garten war sehr märchenhaft, alles war grün und hat geblüht.

A fabulous little cottage perfect for me and my dog!! The owners were there if we needed anything but left us to it which was lovely. Ashover is such a pretty little village and we had the farm shop right on our doorstep! Garden Cottage is beautifully clean and comfortable with everything we needed and a pretty little garden to sit out in and enjoy some much needed peace and quiet. Thank you so much David and Lisa for a wonderful break, Thor and I will most definitely be back!! Ps a visit to Chatsworth Manor is an absolute must!

Very cozy

Street noise

Initial reaction was that it was a very charming cottage and spotlessly clean. We thought the decor was very tastefully done. It also very homely and well designed. The garden was a delight, offering seclusion and tranquility. The excellent weather enabled us to enjoy the garden fully. Although only a relatively small garden, the clever design made it feel much larger. The property location was adjacent to an excellent cafe and within easy reach of the village’s three pubs.

A minor inconvenience was the lack of parking adjacent to the property, but on street was available close by.

Location, Facilities as well as on-premise ideas/pamphlets. Everything was better than we could have hoped for!

Rear gate opened due to high wind enabling our dog to "escape" to then receive a message to say keep dog off the lawn outside the property when there was very little we could do about it.

The property was lovely and clean. With all facilities needed. It’s was in a quiet area with a nice garden to sit in. There was plenty of information on things to do in the local area.

A bit of a squeeze to get around the bed but that is the only negative I can say.

Cottage close to local shops and pubs. Very comfortable, very spacious for 2 people, well equipped with all you need for a lovely relaxing break.

More of a personal preference but the mattress was a bit too soft for us
