Gorton House and Cottages

We stayed in the Apple Cottage and everything was perfect. We had a very comfortable 3 night stay. Beautiful peaceful location yet very accessible to Edinburgh city centre. Watching the sunset from the decking area is a must. Would highly recommend.

The property was perfectly located for us, outside of the city and bustle and bustle of Edinburgh and with some beautiful local walks with our dogs. Everything was clean and fresh smelling.

Beautiful property, relaxing, welcoming & peaceful yet close enough to both Edinburgh and all the great sights. A short drive from The Kelpies, Wallace Monument & Scotlands Secret Bunker. A short drive to Edinburgh or 5 mins to the train station to park & ride. The property has modern facilities & is exceptionally clean & well maintained. Sat on the edge of a lovely country park with lots of great walks & nice pubs & restaurants within a few minutes. Lovely comfortable beds & clean facilities. We will definitely visit again!

The sink plugs in the kitchen and in the bathroom sink - but hey ho, one needs a little adversity in life - or perfection can get rather 'dull.'

Absolutely wonderful cottage and surroundings. Perfect. We had an incredibly happy stay. Thank you so so much!

The property was faultless - the only thing that I would have personally liked would have been to have a bath - I have a spinal injury and after driving all day that would have helped but the cottage was otherwise absolutely perfect.
