Gorton House and Cottages

The views ..compact and cozy. Good bed and linen.

Had problems with tv . No instructions.. turned out after a day it was a faulty Ariel cable. Caretaker was great trying to help us but couldn’t get it sorted and owner sally worked out the problem next day. the flagstone floors in hall and kitchen uneven and tricky ..patio doors to garden need attention..couldn’t open easily with or close once opened, again sally helped to get them closed and we didn’t use them again.

Lovely little cottage. Well equipped, modern interior, spotlessly clean and very cosy. Nice private outside space with lovely views.

Beautiful surroundings, lovely cottage, private with all you need. Will definitely be back.

Lovely place and close to train station.

The bracket to the fridge door was missing so milk had to be stored on its side and dripped if not propped up.

Shower broken Kitchen bit small

Amazing stay from start to finish, every little detail has been so well thought out, from the kitchen towel to the tennis rackets and footballs left, the pitch and put. The amazing grounds and house and cottages. It was a very special weekend for our family and gorton house and cottages made it just that little more memorable ❤️ every single one of us said we would return in a heartbeat (all 10 of us )
