It is in a quiet and clean area.

If you do not have a car then commuting is tricky

Area was lovely

Our stay was from 30 Dec. Check-in was from 4 pm. We arrived at 10pm after driving for 9 hours. There was absolutely no heating on in the property, nothing - it was as freezing inside as it was outside! There were no instructions in the information book to say how to turn the heating on - had to work it out ourselves, tired and frozen. We eventually managed, but sat in our coats, our photo shows the temperature at midnight. The towel rail in the bathroom never worked, had to leave the door open so heat permeated from the rest of the property. But there were lots of notices to instruct us to turn off heating in the bedrooms whenever we weren’t using them…. The kitchen was not well equipped- no frying pan, a couple of horribly stained old pyrex dishes and the fridge wasn’t big enough to enable us to stand a pint of milk upright.

Privacy, grounds, log fire, modern kitchen, good selection of pots and pans, warm( when heaters are on)

A lovely peaceful bolt hole over Christmas holiday lovely touch of Christmas tree. Bet it would be an even nicer location in summer. Really enjoyed our stay with our dog and parrot 🦜

The size of the cottage and garden and land we could walk around. Could play tennis and mini golf we didn’t has was to dark but great if you go in the summer month.

The location was a little way from places but lovely place if can drive not so good to get places without knowing bus routes and that.

Excellent location, convenient for Edinburgh. Quiet with plenty of good walks through the woods Comfy cottage with everything we needed

Heating on when we arrived wold have been good as it was a bit chilly
