Gorton House and Cottages

A nice cottage in a quiet location. There was plenty of room for our party of four and the bathroom had a very good shower. If we had been tennis players there was a well maintained court behind our cottage. All in all a good choice for our short holiday.

Tennis courts were great! Plenty of room in the cottage and a great location! Nice walk from the back gate to the cave and around. Great sunset on back deck.

Hot water issues in one bathroom the morning we checked out, but no biggie as we had 2 bathrooms.

Amazing secluded location, stable cottage was an amazing little one bedroom cottage for a couple. Everything kitted out for a great self catered time. Would definitely recommend. The garden was amazing! We saw two wild deer and pheasants and butterflies. Really serene atmosphere. Very very romantic

Two small windows didn’t have curtains but we managed to cover them up. This is only a very small niggle just a for your information for staff. Otherwise it was perfect.

The cottage was perfect. Great cosy space and very well equipped. Wonderful location and fabulous garden! Great to have the tennis court too - our boys loved it. Thank you!

Only thing I thought it could do with was an outside washing line or airer to dry clothes.

Unfortunately people next door had a dog that kept on barking really inconsiderate

Pretty country cottage with its own garden, very clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need.

Slightly dated appearance, TV, step up into shower. Noise from other guests at night. Would not rate as 3*.
