"Stunning location and excellent facilities ar Thompson Arms Cottages"

The location was perfect. The cottage was great for what we needed and had plenty of useful equipment etc. I would definitely recommend this property and I am sure we will be booking another stay there.

The only thing we found to be a slight problem was the shower head was a bit small although it may be that it needs to be due to the water pressure. However, I wouldn't take that as too much of a negative as the rest of the facilities were perfect snd the location excellent.

Location great. Stuart offered taxi service to and from wedding venue nearby. Really accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great value for money and hosts welcoming and warm. Pub wasn’t open when we went… because they let us into room early. But imagine it’s a lovely real local pub.

Great place, very cosy, Stuart was great and gave us a convenient ride to the wedding, very reasonably priced as well, cottage a great size and accommodated a small baby with ease. Would go again

Gorgeous location, private parking. The place was super cozy and sweet, perfect for just a couple people staying. Not far from the centre of York, really easy to get to the park and ride!

We stayed in Cottage #1 for 5 nights whilst up visiting family. The property was very clean and had all the facilities that we needed. There was secure gated parking by our Cottage and the garden was very well tended. Stuart and Lilli were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was superb and very good value for money. The pub was full of friendly characters who were very welcoming. We will definitely stay again when next up.
