Absolutely nothing! Disgusting

Rude owner, dirty, dismal, grimey house. . Not been cleaned at all since?? Dirty pots in sink, crumbs on tired old sofa, dirty stained wooden floors with holes in. The beds had literally just been slept in, thin cheap dirty sheets, tissue thin duvets all mismatched and cheap, dirty towels on bathroom floor, no view of the estuary??. Just brick coal house with bins facing. A hole in wardrobe door, dirty carpets, dust every where and black scum rd taps, dirty shower head, stale food in fridge, stains and food bits in cupboard. Orange rust in tinpot pans. Not fit for purpose. The whole house was just filthy. I rang the owner who was rude and he slammed the phone down!!. Unbelievable!. 30 minutes later as we were desperately ringing around, 2 young teenagers arrived to tidy up!.They changed bedding only. We asked for a refund earlier and he bolshily offered £20!!. in a threatening tone. We had travelled 130 miles and couldn't get in anywhere else for my friends 60th Birthday, as everything was booked as Gough week due to start. The house smelt damp, dirty and musty. So depressing with gloomy lighting. We had to stay 1 night unfortunately as proving too difficult to find accommodation for 5 ladies so late on, we left the next day. Owner never rang.us back. Ruined our break as you can imagine DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!! I have used Booking.com many many times and never had this pr before. The owner has not answered my calls since as I am seeking a full refund

Location was great Comfy main bed lovely clean linen just wa every helpful.

States for 6 people but only 4 chairs Bench outside needs replacing as very old No grill tray in oven so could not use Needs a bit of tlc inside the cottage as smelling a bit fusty in places and looking tired

Close to all amenities. Pleasant location.

Old fashioned. Had a musty smell. The hot water & heating was very unpredictable sometimes came on other times wouldn’t.

Great location. 2 mins to the swing bridge. Quiet, on a narrow alley way off Flowergate.

Internet didn't work over the whole weekend. Car park to use permit was a good 15 minute walk. Noisy extracter fan in bathroom

The location is outstanding. The house is full of character, with good appliances and the communication with the owners is straight forward. We Will definitely come back.

Supplying a travel cot would be really helpful.

A charming cottage in traditional English style! Since I'm very interested in English culture, it was just perfect! The cottage is only a 3-minute walk from the promenade, with a supermarket, pubs, and shops nearby. Although it's located in the tourist center, it's tucked away in a courtyard, so it's very quiet and you can't hear any street noise. The house has everything you need. The host is very welcoming and responds to messages very quickly. Highly recommended!

It took a bit of time to find parking — it's about a 10-minute walk from the house. But it's nice that the parking is included in the accommodation price аnd you don’t have to worry about the car.
