"A perfect base to explore the beautiful Mournes."

It was beautifully furnished - with comfy beds and sofas, excellent lighting, a lovely riverside terrace, and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Such a lovely place to return to after exploring the local area. Wonderful to arrive to find milk and lovely treats after a long journey too.

Stunning views of the Mourne mountains. Beautiful house with everything you could need. A wonderful welcome box full of treats. Milk in the fridge. Lovely deck to sit and relax with stream below. We loved it!

Had a lovely overnight stay, cosy, warm and clean. Beautiful view from the living room of the Mourne mountains & the cows grazing. Gorgeous decor, beds were so so comfy with high quality bedding- best sleep I've had in any stay!! House had everything you could need, beautiful enclosed outside area with seating and river running by! Excellent communication from hosts, a real wee find! 5*****

We had a fantastic stay. The magic house was so clean and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable. We wish we could've stayed longer. We were so sad to leave and hope to return soon.

Fantastic location near Castlewellan Park, Tollymore Forest Park, Slieve Donard, Newcastle & lots more. Very comfy & relaxing with great views of the mountains on one side & a gorgeous river on the other. Beds were very comfortable & kitchen was well equipped. Kids were delighted with Netflix!

"Magical is an understatement"

The house was magical beside a beautiful river, and the views of the Mournes were breathtaking. The house was fantastic and clean. Everything you needed was there, and my daughters fell in love with it. We can't wait to be back in the spring and summer. The owners were fantastic, and they left some treats for my daughters.

I didn't like the fact that we didn't book to stay longer. You could never dislike anything about this beautiful home.

Clean, stylish decor and equipped with everything you might need. Considerate, communicative hosts. Location was perfect for us and we loved being practically on a river.
