Riverside Cottage with sauna

Location is stunning and peacefull,welcome pack was a lovely touch,plenty of towels and a bath robe.

Garden listed as secure for dogs but needs a gate at the side to the courtyard and the steps leading down to the river ideally,we blocked these off with unused garden chairs as our dog is old so it stopped him fine but wouldn't a younger / smaller dog.This did not spoil our visit.

Great location by the river with a great outdoor space. Peaceful but not far to anything you might need. Even with a frost outside the property was lovely and warm in the main upstairs living area ( we didn’t need the downstairs bedroom) . Comfortable bed and lovely hot shower..

A small thing. A couple more drinking glasses would be useful and maybe some instructions about what to do with recycling/rubbish.

Fantastic value for money; so much space inside, an amazing location surrounded by greenery and a river flowing gently next to it. Very private - nobody else around. Sauna was a very nice extra.

Our only gripe is that the mattress wasn't very comfortable.

Nothing not to like, great location, plenty to see and do. Dog loved it.

We loved our stay, and the location was perfect for dog walking. The setting next to the river was perfect, with the added bonus of the sauna. The complimentary locally produced smoked trout was delicious.

Could do with a slight refresh, and the mattress was a bit soft. Also, the outside lighting could be improved.

Stunning setting! We were delighted with the accommodation and the welcome gifts were well received. The added luxury of the sauna made the accommodation just perfect. Our stay was simply wonderful regardless of the weather.
