Riverside Cottage with sauna

Fantastic location. Idyllic! The cottage was beautiful and cosy. We watched the river flow by the cottage for hours. Dogs loved the safe enclosed garden too. Owners were lovely and helpful. Enjoyed the smoked trout, eggs and bread (a thoughtful touch).

Beautiful location. The apartment was good as well with everything we wanted - kitchen was well stocked with equipment and essentials. Loved listening to the stream and birdsong.

Main bed was a bit saggy.

The location was idyllic, with the river next door and forest opposite. We had such a peaceful stay and felt very at home, with everything we needed. Thank you!

Welcoming friendly hosts. Very comfortable warm cottage with everything you could need. Gorgeous gift of smoked trout and duck eggs which was a nice surprise. So peaceful and relaxing... Can't wait to go visit again!

The self-catering apartment is located next to the main building and is very well decorated with wonderful clean and tidy facilities. There is a flowing river alongside the property with seats outside that you can sit and enjoy the sunshine. It's a great location. It is very close to Barnstaple, local beaches and Linton all within easy driving distance. We had a fantastic time and were very well looked after by the host with the wonderful breakfast of fresh eggs, salmon and fresh bread. We will definitely be coming back here with our family in the future and I'm sure many times throughout the next few years.

Location was outstanding next to a stream, accommodation had many personal touches which made it feel homely. Breakfast for us in the fridge,wood burning stove & sauna. Enclosed large rear garden for our dogs. Owner very friendly & accommodating to our personal needs
