"Family weekend"

8.0

We loved the location, the spacious accommodation and facilities. There was an excellent eatery just next door.

The bathroom upstairs had a lovely shower. The bath could not be used as it did not have a plug and enamel peeling off.

"Great stay would stay again"

8.0

The location was great nice view from the living room and the beds were really comfy, shower upstairs was amazing .

On first impressions we felt it was a bit run down weeds outside, quite a few cobwebs and not even any toilet paper. The bath was also unusable due to paint peeling and no plug. We had a takeaway but wouldn’t like to cook with the kitchen equipment but the stay was honestly great. Just feel if a couple of hundred pound was spent on new towels, new kitchen pans etc and maybe some mini toiletries would be nicer :)

Location, near Sunderland and Durham, but still in the middle of no where

Could do with a bit of a refresh and a few things could be fixed

"A clean, spacious house with nice views"

6.0

The house was pleasant and clean with a nice large, comfy lounge and kitchen. Very nice views from the lounge.

We would have preferred non-brushed cotton bed sheets since it was summer and they can make a person feel quite warm in bed. Also, we couldn't work out how to turn off the radiator in the kitchen, which added to the warmth of the house, but it would be nice and cosy in the winter! The garden seemed a bit unkempt with long-ish grass and an old broken bench - these small things would be very easy to address and would just provide better impressions of the outside area. I'd also like heavier curtains in the bedrooms, but that's just my personal preference. Finally, the price seemed a bit expensive for what we got.
